2026 Roundtable on Taiwanese Business and Investment in Korea
On June 18, 2026, the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Korea attended the "2026 Roundtable on Taiwanese Business and Investment in Korea" in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The meeting was hosted by the Economic Division of the Taipei Mission in Korea and brought together public-sector and business representatives for a focused discussion on the current operating and investment environment facing Taiwanese businesses in Korea.
We were honored to join the meeting alongside Director Tseng Yun-shuang of the Economic Division and Taiwan's Representative to Korea, Chiou Gow-wei, whose presence underscored the importance of continued dialogue with the Taiwanese business community in Korea.
The Chamber participated with Chairperson 朱俊尹, Secretary-General Angie Lin, and Young Professional Network Director CJ Hsu. During the exchange, participants shared practical perspectives on the realities of operating businesses in Korea, current investment sentiment, and areas where closer coordination can help support Taiwanese enterprises on the ground.
We also welcomed representatives from Invest Korea and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (DGFEZ), who introduced their programs for foreign investment and outlined support measures available to overseas companies considering expansion and new projects in Korea.
The Chamber appreciates the opportunity to take part in this meaningful dialogue and will continue to serve as a bridge for communication, cooperation, and practical business support for Taiwanese enterprises in Korea.
