About the Chamber
Who We Are
The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Korea brings together Taiwanese-run businesses, Taiwanese companies operating in Korea, and Taiwanese professionals. We offer a dependable place to exchange information, form business relationships, and work across industries. By keeping this network active, we help Taiwan’s business community grow in Korea and strengthen business ties between Taiwan and Korea.
Our Community
Our members come from different industries, professions, and stages of business development. When they share what they have learned, new relationships and opportunities can grow across the community. This exchange also helps the next generation of Taiwanese professionals and business leaders find their footing in Korea. Our network includes:
- Taiwanese-run Businesses: Local businesses established and operated by Taiwanese people in Korea.
- Taiwanese Companies in Korea: Taiwan-based companies with subsidiaries, offices, or teams in Korea.
- Taiwanese Professionals: Taiwanese professionals building careers, expertise, and business relationships in Korea.
How We Connect
We bring people together through business events, community gatherings, and regular communication. Members share market knowledge, Chamber updates, and community news so that others can better understand the local business environment and recognize opportunities to work together.
Over time, these connections can lead to lasting cooperation between Taiwanese companies and Korean partners. The Chamber provides a trusted point of contact where those relationships can begin and continue to develop.
The Chamber’s History
The Chamber began as an informal network of Taiwanese people doing business in Korea. Personal relationships, mutual support, and practical cooperation held the community together in its early years.
As the network grew, its members saw the need for a stable organization that could represent the community and support its work over the long term. In 2022, the Chamber was formally established in Korea as a non-governmental organization. Today, we continue to build a credible institution that members and partners can rely on for sustained engagement and business exchange.
