World and Asia Taiwanese chamber leaders meet with Taiwan's Representative to Korea, Chiou Gow-wei, at a closed-door roundtable in Seoul.

On October 1, 2026, the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Korea welcomed leaders from the World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (WTCC) and the Asia Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (ASTCC) to Seoul for a day of dialogue and exchange.

The visiting delegation included Chen Wu-fu, president-elect for the 34th term of WTCC; 俞秀霞, president of the 34th term of ASTCC; Huang Hsiu Chin, chief supervisor of the 34th term of ASTCC; and Ueshima Aya, secretary-general of the 34th term of ASTCC.

In the afternoon, the delegation and local Chamber leaders held two separate closed-door roundtables. The first brought them together with Taiwan's Representative to Korea, Chiou Gow-wei, and Tzeng Yun Shuang, Director of the Economic Division of the Taipei Mission in Korea. The second was held with Kirk Wang, Director of the Taiwan Trade Center, Seoul. Across the two meetings, participants exchanged perspectives directly and considered how the global, regional, and local chamber networks can maintain closer connections.

In the evening, the visiting delegation and Chamber members gathered for dinner at Yeomong in Sinchon, continuing the day's conversations in a warm and informal setting.

We appreciate the visiting delegation and our distinguished guests for making time for this meaningful exchange. The Chamber will continue strengthening relationships across the worldwide Taiwanese business community and creating practical opportunities for cooperation in Korea and throughout Asia.
